How many times have you ever entertained the thought of yourself receiving your wildest dream?  Literally imagining the moment that you've deeply hoped for actually unfold.  When I think of that moment happening in my life my thoughts switch gears and instantaneously I'm asking myself, "Are you ready for this?"  I've come to the realization of the importance of being equipped in retaining the blessing especially when recalling stories of million dollar lottery winners hitting it big.....just the break they needed to end up broke!  Isn't that a dream turned nightmare?  Thus, being equipped in knowing you will maintain that in which you're open to receive is crucial.   Surely there are many facets of desires in which we all immensely hope to become our reality.  It could be a break-through in health, finances, relationship, a career or business.  As my great expectancy arrives, plans to be equipped will be in place to receive but more importantly sustain it.   Jus Sayn !!!

     I was handed a silver dollar coin dated 1971.....I thought to myself, this is the same year I was born.  I'm going to hold on to this along with the other silver dollar coin dated 1924.   Also, this is the 71st blog post and being a 71 baby I figured I'd do a little throw-back with interesting events centered around nineteen 71.

Fun Friday 11/2013

It's Friday and welcome to another segment of 'Jus Sayn'.  It's been a great week, kinda busy but good.  I wish you all a safe and enjoyable weekend. :)  Monday is Veterans Day and Jus Sayn will resume Tuesday.


                                                                Girlfriend vacation scenario:


A group of girlfriends are on vacation when they see a 5-story hotel with a sign that reads: "For Women Only". Since they are without their boyfriends and husbands, they decide to go in.
The bouncer, a very attractive guy, explains to them how it works. "We have 5 floors. Go up floor by floor, and once you find what you are looking for, you can stay there. It's easy to decide since each floor has a sign telling you what's inside."
So they start going up and on the first floor the sign reads: "All the men on this floor are short and plain." The friends laugh and without hesitation move on to the next floor.
The sign on the second floor reads: "All the men here are short and handsome."
Still, this isn't good enough, so the friends continue on up.
They reach the third floor and the sign reads: "All the men here are tall and plain." They still want to do better, and so, knowing there are still two floors left, they continued on up.
On the fourth floor, the sign says: "All the men here are tall and handsome. They are rich and perfectly built"
The women get all excited and are going in when they realize that there is still one floor left. Wondering what they are missing, they head on up to the fifth floor. There they find a sign that reads: "There are no men here. This floor was built only to prove that there is no way to please a woman."

     Have you ever been in a funk then a song came on...."Turn that up, that's my song", you say all hype.  Doesn't it kind of rinse the funk away at least momentarily?  Now imagine cruising with someone while listening to some good music. Periodically glancing at each other enjoying the music, the ride, and the sights feeling the same vibe.  In this season you can catch an eyeful of the trees flaunting some of the most blended colors.

 

     I challenge you to find time to gather some music, music that you like, doesn't matter if it's new school or old school tunes....Just turn on the good music, put the gear in drive and cruise on a relaxing scenic joy ride.  Jus Sayn!!!

     You've heard that saying "It's like beating a dead horse?"  Certain situations we encounter in life is like that....until that moment of awakening clarity with the resilience to move on.  The dead horse could be any area in your life that seems unfruitful, producing a massive load of nothing.  You've given it the substance and attention for as long as you could, until it now seems to be more of a load or burden;  something you're ready to part with.  You've already pass the questioning phase of wondering  why.....now embracing peace within....moving on to say goodbye.   Jus Sayn!!!

      Always curious to know what the next fortune cookie is going to say, I unfolded the little paper and it read 'Embrace change, don't battle it'.  Those words have echoed constantly for over a year now.....and so many changes have occurred since then.....some good, others unfortunate and changes that is-what-it-is.  In my logical thinking I believe that the only reason I hesitate to embrace change may be fear of the unknown....notice I said 'hesitate'.  I may not have the answers; however, I refuse to live a life being stagnant afraid of change and at least I'm still in the game.   
    

     As I look back, I'm proud of many changes in my personal life and as well as others around me. I was speaking to my room-mate and his wife weeks ago about the seasons of change in our lives. Change is a beautiful thing even when facing uncertainty......Jus Sayn!!!

The doctor and lawyer scenario:

 

 

A doctor vacationing on the Rivera met an old lawyer friend and asked him what he was doing there.  The lawyer replied, "Remember that lousy real estate I brought?  Well, it caught fire, so here I am with the fire insurance proceeds.  What are you doing here?"  The doctor replied, "Remember that lousy real estate I had in Mississippi?  Well, the river  overflowed, and here I am with the flood insurance proceeds."  The lawyer looked puzzled.  "Gee, "  he asked, "how did you start the flood?"

 

 

 

The lady and pharmacist scenario:

 

 

A nice, calm and respectable lady went into a pharmacy, walked up to the pharmacist, looked straight into his eyes, and said, "I would like to buy some cyanide."

 

The pharmacist asked, "Why in the world do you need cyanide?"

 

The lady replied, "I need it to poison my husband."  The pharmacist eyes got big and exclaimed, "Lord have Mercy!"  I can't give you cyanide to kill your husband lady!  That is against the law!  I'll lose my license!  They'll throw both of us in jail!  All kinds of things will happen.  Absolutely Not!!!  You CANNOT have any cyanide!!!  The lady politely reached into her purse and pulled out a picture of her husband in bed with the pharmacist's wife. 

 

The pharmacist looked at the picture and replied, "Well, well now, that's different....You didn't tell me you had a prescription!"

A reflection of what words have yet told.

 

 



 

Neglect:  A whimper, a moan high pitched tones like a child abandoned left to fend on their own.

 

Wedding Day:  Joyful tears emerged as the bride is unveiled, a new bond and chapter of their lives to tell.

 

 

Torture:  Screams of agonizing pain sends chills through your vein, the heinous beating of open flesh, so inhumane.

 

 

Newborn:  Cries from a newborn, oh so tender and warm embraced with love as baby grow and form.

 

 

 

 

Misery:  Cries in the dark of a silent broken heart, so stricken with grief feeling torn apart.

 

Humor:  Gut filled laughter with stomach muscles sore, so hysterical tears began to soar.

 

 

 

 

Every cry relays a message as to how it came about

It's a reaction directly from the heart emotionally poured out!

It is so human to know and want to feel appreciated, to know your very existence is needed.  It is healthy self gratification to know that you are also essential to meaningful relationships simply because of you.   The unfortunate thing is complacency can slow walk its toxins into a relationship and twist the value of what a person brings over the person thereof. 

 

Moreover;  It's heart wrenching to began to feel that one clings to you more for the benefits you bring to the table.  We all know when we feel like we are being taken for granted.....and granted it is such a relationship killer. 

 

 

 

"I need you in my life", many times it's been chanted....If so, then don't take the ones you cherish for granted.    Jus Sayn!!!

     There are good soul ties and bad soul ties.  The good ones produce life in us while the bad ones slowly drains life away from within.  

     When two people genuinely get to know each other on different levels through all types of weather soul ties develop.  These types of knitted relationships usually blossom but not overnight.  Realizing that neither is superior nor inferior to the other.  Only the two know what's best for that relationship, working to establish a foundation with only the best intentions.  Gravitating to compliment each other as a whole, truly the immerse uniting of destined souls....Let love live....Jus Sayn!!!
